- Parklands Netball Club aims to provide a positive and healthy playing environment for all players encouraging participation and self development through sport.
- It is our aim to provide a structured and supportive sporting environment to its members (players, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators).
- We achieve this through providing for the health, welfare and wellbeing of its members through the adoption of Fair Play Policies and an accepting environment to social and cultural diversity.
- We truly believe that community sport brings people together from different walks of life!
- Our philosophy encompasses providing an environment where members can:
- Learn and develop the skills and ethics of netball.
- Receive coaching from appropriately experienced coaches.
- Have fun and form long-lasting friendships with peers sharing similar goals.
- Be supported by the association/club, their peers, coaches and parents.
- Be provided with a pathway enabling them to achieve their potential.
- Develop, practice and engage in sportsmanship behaviour.
- Team Selections
- In providing a social environment for all players to participant in team selectors use best efforts to encourage and retain player friendships with consideration of each player's age and skill development. For more information regarding team structures please see our Age Group Statements.
