How are teams structured?
With the emphasis on fun and participation, our teams are constructed by age group and with friendships a key consideration, as well as general skill and development level of the individual player. This enables teams to be formed so as teams are required to advance in age groups, they can do so as a team whenever possible with least disruption to team friendships. Coming along to Registation Day and pre-season training plays an important role for coaches in setting teams.
Parklands Netball Club does not have a formal "try-out" or "selection" process. This is against our club philosophies for junior sport, as our main aim is for the greastest participation from all players of all levels.
For more information on team structure, please click on this link to Club Philosophies and Age Group Statements.

How can parents become involved?
Local sporting clubs survive with the ongoing input from volunteers. There are many ways to become involved and it sets a great example for our children. Consider becoming a team manager, taking on the role of coaching, scoring at games, joining the committee or being a fund raiser.
You could even join a team in the Open Age competitions - By far, a great way to be a role model!!!
Come along - Get involved - Get active... Contact the Club Secretary on 0401 586 172 or secretary@parklandsnetball.org.au
